It starts off with Gwyneth Paltrow catching the deadly lurgi in Hong Kong and then it spreading in her home town of Minneapolis on her return, leaving husband Matt Damon to pick up the pieces. There were lots of other big Stars from Laurence Fisburne to Jude Law and Kate Winslett. It"s sort of like a documentary of how things progressed in the lives of different people and shows us how easily it could all happen. I was quick to look at the person in the next row who coughed and was conscious of how many times I touched my face during the show along with a quick trip to the bathroom to wash my hands afterwards. All in all a movie worth seeing.

It does not quite play as a race against time type of film. Instead of how it affects the people around the area. It does have a great setting, as they try investigate on what unleashed the virus.
The performances where good, Matt Damon was excellent, has a man having trouble taking this all in, after is wife(Gwenyth Paltrow) dies from the infect. Cate Blanchett and Laurence Fishburne are also good,as doctors trying to find a cure. Marion Cottilard is great, as her character is trying to find out how the virus started. And Jude Law kind of steals the movie as a sleazy reporter. Just remember, this movie is a reminder that this could happen.
